First session with a new wedge
Time: 25–30 minutes
Goal: Create a usable personal distance ladder quickly.
Option 1 Structure:
- Hit balls with a certain wedge (60°) to 10-20 yard incremental distances
- You don't have to build the library for each different wedge all at once
- For example, hit balls at 40 yard distance → save clean ones and lock in yardage. Then move to the 50 or 60 yard distance and do the same.
-
You are building a library of swings at a certain yardage as a stock swing to train and repeat later during practice.
Option 2 Structure:
-
Hit 3–4 balls at 30–50 yards → save clean ones and enter yardage
-
Hit 3–4 balls at 50–70 yards → save clean ones and enter yardage
-
Hit 3–4 balls at 70–100 yards → save clean ones and enter yardage
By the end you should have 10–14 solid data points spread across the range. The app can now interpolate almost any distance from 30–100 yards.
