Gap Gauge (“we,” “us”) makes a golf practice sensor and related app/waitlist. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
We may collect:
- Name and email address (waitlist, contact form, or Facebook/Instagram Instant Form)
- Optional answers you submit (for example, whether you practice wedges)
- Messages you send us
- Basic site/ad data such as pages viewed, device type, and approximate location, if you visit our website or interact with our ads
- Order and shipping details if you later buy a product
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or health information.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- Add you to the Gap Gauge waitlist and send launch or product updates
- Reply to questions
- Improve the product, ads, and website
- Process orders and shipping if you buy from us
- Meet legal or security requirements
We do not sell your email list.
Facebook and Instagram ads
If you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares the information you entered on that form with us. We use it only for the waitlist and related Gap Gauge emails. Meta also has its own data policy for how it runs ads.
Sharing
We may share information with:
- Email or form tools that store the waitlist (for example Google Sheets or an email service)
- Payment and shipping providers if you place an order
- Meta, if required for ads and lead forms
- Authorities if the law requires it
We do not sell personal information to other companies for their marketing.
Emails
Waitlist emails are optional. You can unsubscribe using the link in an email, or by writing to paulhoenecke@gapgauge.com and asking to be removed.
Data retention
We keep waitlist contacts until you ask to be removed, or until we no longer need the list for launch updates. Meta may store Instant Form leads for a limited time on their side as well.
Your choices
You can email paulhoenecke@gapgauge.com to:
- See what we have for you
- Correct it
- Delete it / leave the waitlist
If you are in a state with extra privacy rights (including California), you can use the same email to make those requests.
Children
Gap Gauge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do.
